Imagine waking to the sound of kookaburras, parrots and honeyeaters. Then, having a barbecue brunch on the patio with red-necked wallabies grazing nearby and seeing nothing but bushland in every direction.

Robinsons Cabin is a charming old forestry hut in Boonoo Boonoo National Park, converted into budget accommodation. Self-contained and sleeping up to six people, it’s cosy in winter and surrounded by a sea of wildflowers in spring.

Situated within the national park, yet less than 30km from Tenterfield, you have the best of both worlds at Robinsons. Boonoo Boonoo National Park is right there to be explored, and the town is only a 20min drive away. From Robinsons, you can cycle, hike or drive to the stunning Boonoo Boonoo Falls lookout. From there, you can access walking tracks or have a wallow in the rock pools along the river if the weather’s warm enough.
